Pop Perspective: Adele's "Hello" Reviewed
All four Idolator editors rate and review Adele's massive comeback single "Hello."

Adele picks up where she left off with album number three. Lead single “Hello” demolished the previous first-week sales, streaming and VEVO records, while 25 is on track to debut with an opening tally of more than 2.5 million copies. At this point, the Brit could easily forgo promotion and still end up with a diamond-selling album, but she dutifully turned up to sing a couple of tracks on tonight’s (November 21) episode of Saturday Night Live.

The 27-year-old began with a gut-wrenching rendition of Greg Kurstin-produced smash “Hello” (above) — showing off the full range of those golden pipes. She looked typically glamorous in a black fringed dress and served serious hand choreography. Adele then returned to belt out nostalgic ballad “When We Were Young,” which is an obvious choice for the diva’s next single — watch below.
