Album Review: Ariana's 'Thank U, Next'
Does it live up to the hype? We review Ariana Grande's 5th LP.

EDIT 1: The song didn’t arrive as expected. We’ll keep you posted.

EDIT 2: It finally dropped! Listen to “Haunt You,” which includes Ari’s background vocals, below.

Ariana Grande is the busiest woman in music. When she’s not churning out multiple albums in less than a year, the 25-year-old is dropping random collaborations with other artists. (“Rule The World” with 2 Chainz and “Monopoly” with Victoria Monét are the two most recent). That trend will continue tonight (May 20) with the arrival of Social House’s “Haunt You.” Ari lends her famous pipes to the song, possibly as a favor to the production duo — comprised of Michael Foster and Charles Anderson — for producing “Thank U, Next” and “7 Rings.”

“It’s probably our most meaningful song,” Social House tells Travis Mills on Apple Music’s Beats 1 (below). “We themed our EP and our album off a relationship and it has a hint of the issues that go on in the relationship like sometimes your insecurities… how you may have something beautiful and this amazing thing or person that you love but sometimes you feel insecure because you might not be good enough, you might want to be better for them.” If the version of “Haunt You” on SoundCloud is any indication, Ariana simply serves as a backing vocalist on this one.
