BSB's 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'
The Backstreet Boys come back with new bop, 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart.'

They’re back! After landing their biggest hit in more than a decade with “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” and conquering Las Vegas with their Larger Than Life residency, the legendary man band keep their winning streak alive with “Chances.” Penned by Ryan Tedder and Shawn Mendes, the second single from their upcoming DNA album (more about that in a minute) is another irresistible, vaguely retro pop-anthem with a hands-in-the-air chorus and the kind of vocal harmonies that they perfected. It has every chance of being a very big song.

“What’s a girl like you doing in a place like this? On a quiet night, what are the odds?” the Backstreet Boys muse over fist-pumping synths. “What’s a guy like me doing in a place like this? I could have just walked by, who would have thought?” The questions continue in the chorus. “What are the chances that we’d end up dancing? Like 2 in a million, like once in a life.” As I mentioned earlier, the hitmakers also announced the title and release date (January 25, 2019) of their 9th LP.
