Did You Hear?
:: World’s most pregnant person Jessica Simpson, who was just pregnant with her first child for approximately three years, is officially, definitely pregnant again — according to a totally-reliable source who heard her talking about it at her dad’s Christmas party: “As Jessica and her husband were about to leave the party somebody asked her, ‘How’s the baby?’ and she boasted, ‘Which one?! I’m pregnant again!’” Admittedly, that does sound like something she would say. [Celebuzz]
:: PSY is one of four cover stars on the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter, where he talked about how Barack Obama can’t do the “Gangnam Style” dance at the White House anymore because his family hates it: “He told me he’s good at ‘Gangnam Style’ but that the ladies at his house are embarrassed when he’s dancing so he’s not doing it,” PSY explained. Politics, right? [THR]
:: Rihanna bought a $12 million dollar mansion. Don’t expect her to apologize for it. [Trulia]
:: Apparently there were rumors that X Factor UK star Tulisa was supposed to record “Scream and Shout” with Will.i.am instead of Britney Spears, but Will put those rumors to rest, or something, explaining that Tulisa wrote to the beat but the track’s producers had Spears in mind for it from the jump-off. So there’s that. Tired of rumors starting, sick of being followed. [AOL Music Blog]
:: Very upsetting charges were filed against Ian Watkins, the frontman of the rock group Lostprophets, alleging that he conspired to rape a 1-year-old. Nothing funny to say about that. Can we talk about Jessica Simpson’s pregnancy again? [The Independent]

and current lady Taylor Swift
spent some quality couples’ time at an L.A. tattoo parlor on Tuesday night (December 18). Photos of the One Direction
member showing off a giant pirate ship on his left bicept at Shamrock Tattoo (the same place where Rihanna
got her “Thug Life” ink
earlier this year) surfaced on Twitter on Wednesday (December 19). The Internet (understandably) went bananas — not just because Taylor is now apparenly spending her week nights at a tattoo joint — but because of the uncanny resemblance
Harry’s new design bares to the Tay’s love interest has in her “I Knew You Were Trouble”

Look, we get it: You spent all day fantasizing about One Direction
‘s Liam Payne
and Louis Tomlinson in the shower
, and now you’re exhausted. Right? Right.
Well, consider this, Directioners: There’s a lyric video out for “Kiss You,” and it’s — actually, it’s exactly like most lyric videos, only it’s a One Direction lyric video, which means it’s flawless and perfect and RT for your Brazilian fans and all that. Given that the single’s proper music video has been pushed back to January, this is surely a useful stopgap as we sit on our hands and wait for its arrival. Watch it up top, then continue shaking and crying ad infinitum.
was one of our favorite EPs of the year
, partly thanks to Ferreira’s ability to hop genres while maintaining a sense of melancholy along the way. For this performance of the EP’s title track for MTV Hive
and Yours Truly, Ferreira is on a boat with just an acoustic guitarist accompanying her. (Why a boat? Maybe because the lovesick song mimics seasickness.) “Ghost” was already the saddest song of the EP, but this evocative take gives it an added weariness. Check it out up top.
is prepping his next single from his exceptional LP 18 Months
, and the latest superstar collab to get the single treatment is his Tinie Tempah
track “Drinking From the Bottle.” A slick dance-pop tune with clever rhymes from Tempah — check the first verse for the droll “Got them girls going Cyndi Lauper / Gaga and a little Blondie” — the song’s memorable hook and Harris’ typically fist-pumping production lend it major hit potential.
The lyric video is nothing groundbreaking, but it’s good promo for the tune, which is one of Harris’ most radio-friendly to date. Watch it up top.
