Robbie Williams’ ‘Take The Crown’ Leak: Hear “Be A Boy” & New Single “Different”

Following his reunion with Take That — which included the man band’s 2010 album Progress, 2011 EP Progressed and their tour in support of both — British crooner Robbie Williams is back to solo status with his ninth LP Take The Crown (out today in several countries, and Monday, November 5 in the UK). And, yes — that cover of the Belle Brigade‘s “Losers,” which Williams curiously premiered on Chatroulette in the summer, made the cut.

Naturally the album has leaked. And since you’ve already heard lead single “Candy,” we’ve taken the liberty of posting standout track (and album opener) “Be A Boy” and “Different,” which is slated as the LP’s official second single. Give them both a spin below! More »

Christina Aguilera’s ‘Lotus’: Hear The Album Snippets

Christina Aguilera‘s latest album Lotus is due out in just a few short weeks, and — as is prone to happen — the preview snippets of the album have leaked. While we’ve already heard lead single “Your Body” and the Sia demo “Blank Page,” the rest of these tracks are new to listeners — and these (admittedly brief) 30-second clips have us feeling like the album is going to be pretty solid!

The evidence: Xtina’s vocals sound crisp and powerful on “Army of Me” (which is probably pretty epic in full), while “Red Hot Kinda Love” promises to get us “Desnudate”-ing all over the place, and those big house synths in “Let There Be Love” are undeniably auspicious. Perhaps the album sounds a little ballad-heavy, but that’s okay. Based on this tease, Lotus sounds like it will put the chanteuse’s talents to good use. Listen after the jump. More »

Barack Obama Gives Jay-Z Parenting Tips, Shares What’s On His iPod

It’s no secret that Barack Obama and Jay-Z are tight. The “Empire State of Mind” rapper recently put together a video showing support for Obama’s reelection, and to repay the favor, the President gave the new father of Blue Ivy a little family advice.

“I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with the baby],” Obama said in a radio interview with Cleveland’s z107.9. “And not leaving it all with mom and the mother-in-law.” It isn’t just anyone who could tell Jay-Z to step up at home. But when the President himself tells you to change your share of the dirty diapers, you listen. Hear Obama’s thoughts on Bey and his favorite Jay-Z song after the jump. More »

Are They Or Aren't They?
Are they or aren’t they? That’s the question surrounding Chris Brown and Rihanna, who have reunited as close friends if not lovers.
