Well, consider this, Directioners: There’s a lyric video out for “Kiss You,” and it’s — actually, it’s exactly like most lyric videos, only it’s a One Direction lyric video, which means it’s flawless and perfect and RT for your Brazilian fans and all that. Given that the single’s proper music video has been pushed back to January, this is surely a useful stopgap as we sit on our hands and wait for its arrival. Watch it up top, then continue shaking and crying ad infinitum.

Sky Ferreira‘s Ghost was one of our favorite EPs of the year, partly thanks to Ferreira’s ability to hop genres while maintaining a sense of melancholy along the way. For this performance of the EP’s title track for MTV Hive and Yours Truly, Ferreira is on a boat with just an acoustic guitarist accompanying her. (Why a boat? Maybe because the lovesick song mimics seasickness.) “Ghost” was already the saddest song of the EP, but this evocative take gives it an added weariness. Check it out up top.
Calvin Harris is prepping his next single from his exceptional LP 18 Months, and the latest superstar collab to get the single treatment is his Tinie Tempah track “Drinking From the Bottle.” A slick dance-pop tune with clever rhymes from Tempah — check the first verse for the droll “Got them girls going Cyndi Lauper / Gaga and a little Blondie” — the song’s memorable hook and Harris’ typically fist-pumping production lend it major hit potential.
The lyric video is nothing groundbreaking, but it’s good promo for the tune, which is one of Harris’ most radio-friendly to date. Watch it up top.

winning the first award of the night at the 2012 American Music Awards and then winning Favorite Pop/Rock Album, Justin Bieber turned out an impressive performance featuring two of his Believe hits. First, he stripped it down for “As Long As You Love Me,” sitting on a stool, accompanied only by an acoustic guitarist. Then he blew it out for the second part of the medley, “Beauty And A Beat.” Nicki Minaj eventually joined the stomping, synchronized set, which you can watch up top.In between
