Future Big Eyes soundtrack darling and Ultraviolence Queen Lana Del Rey is gracing the cover of Maxim with her heavenly body next month.
The singer’s gorgeous, very neck-centric cover — she was named “Rock’s Sultriest Star” by the mag, by the way! — was unveiled on Maxim‘s website today, along with a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot. And based on the teaser polaroids featured in the clip, she’s giving us a whole lot of bedroom seduction in the upcoming spread.
From Maxim: “The elusive pop star has garnered the world’s attention with style and grace unlike no other. Her addictive sound, carried over in new album Ultraviolence, has earned her a loyal following with rave reviews from fans and critics alike.” The magazine will hit newsstands later this month.

“Wrecking Ball” pop starlet-turned-full-time Instagram collage artist Miley Cyrus has certainly had a busy 2014, from creating strange, colorful #ARTPOP arts and crafts to mastering the art of terrifying selfies. And those Instaglamorous creative juices aren’t running low anytime soon!
In the past week, Miley — like the rest of us — has been subjected to Kim Kardashian‘s Internet-breaking butt on Paper Magazine. And so, she decided to inject herself into the equation! Last week, she added her goofball awkward child face to the original Kim K. shot (uncomfortable but hilarious!), and this week, she’s carefully ‘shopped the much-buzzed about pair of buttocks onto one of her Terry Richardson-shot #Bangerz promo photos. Of course, what would Art be if not an expression of imagination to be enjoyed and experienced by the masses? Check out Miley’s full conversion into a Mileydashian after the jump. More »
We didn’t really need another reason that underscores the ways in which Sweden is the coolest corner on the planet, but here’s one anyway: Robyn is getting her own postage stamp. And Max Martin. And “Pistols At Dawn” singer Seinabo Sey, First Aid Kit and, yes, even Avicii. Scandinavian postal company PostNord will make the stamps available on January 15, 2015.
“Sweden, with a population of only 9 million, is third in world in pop music exports. PostNord is profiling this achievement by issuing stamps featuring a selection of the Swedish artists and songwriters who are currently spreading Swedish music across the world,” the company says in a press release. Miley Cyrus, no stranger to whipping her cans out — or her butt, or doing strange things in a leotard in front of Terry Richardson‘s lens — has given the gift of yet another topless photo by way of Instagram. Only this one just might creep you out. Take, for instance, those Billy-Bob teeth, which the pop stripper is so fond of when posting her pics on the photo-sharing site. And then there are the drawn chicken legs covering up her breasts — granted, an improvement over the alien heads of yore.
No, this probably isn’t the sexiest image of Miley Cyrus you’ll ever see. But for all you poultry-on-boobs fetishists out there, you can have at the full thing below. More »
Well, here’s how Madonna is celebrating the 20-year anniversary of her sixth studio album, Bedtime Stories (released on October 25, 1994) — with a lovely bathroom Instagram pic of her Madgesty in all her spread-eagle glory. We here at Idolator decided to celebrate the the LP by revisiting it with one of our retrospective Backtracking pieces. Take a bow and check it out! More »
Sister Cristina raised her voice, and Madonna heard it. The 26-year-old Italian nun won The Voice Italy earlier this year after initially stunning her home country with her cover of “No One.” Now, in a bid for some attention-grabbing promo, the holy songbird has covered Madonna‘s “Like A Virgin” ahead of the release of her upcoming album (out November 11).
Her Madgesty apparently caught wind of Sister Cristina’s divine rendition, as she posted two Photoshopped images today on Instagram featuring herself with the Italian sensation.
“Like A Virgin? #bitinghard,” Madonna, who has had an infamous history with the Catholic church, captioned the one photo. On the other she simply noted, “Sisters for Life! #touchedfortheveryfirsttime”

Miley Cyrus is currently in the midst of the Australian leg of her Bangerz Tour, and you know what that means, right? That’s right: MORE BOOBS. Pop’s most consistent stripper (sorry, Rihanna, but you’ve been slacking) took time out to catch some rays over the weekend while Down Under, and that included topless sunbathing with her assistant Cheyne Thomas.
By the time Sunday rolled around, Cyrus even found herself in bed with no pants whatsoever on, so Thomas decided, hey, why not snap a pic and post it on Instagram? Catch all of Miley’s last bout of nude antics below. More »
Long before the Baz Luhrmann-directed The Great Gatsby hit theaters last year (or the 2000 version, with Paul Rudd and Mira Sorvino, hit TV screens), a somewhat dull silver screen adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic Jazz Age novel, starring Robert Redford, Sam Waterston and Mia Farrow, was released in 1974. Farrow wound up on the very first issue of People at that time in full Daisy Buchanan drag. Now, “Shake It Off” songbird Taylor Swift has recreated that same look for the cover of the publication’s special 40th anniversary issue. More »
SUPER IMPORTANT NEWS: The other night Nicki Minaj posted two photos on Instagram where she was supposedly aiming at showing her bobbed wig and makeup to her followers. Of course, the real focus was on Nicki’s ample bosom, which was on full display thanks to the black, barely-there bra she was wearing. Because after all, this is what pop stars do in 2014.

Calvin Harris is currently riding high in the charts around the globe with John Newman-featuring single “Blame,” but behind the scenes he’s already on to the next one. Above you’ll find a snap the Scottish dance producer posted on his Instagram from what appears to be the set of a video shoot for a song called “Slow Acid.” Emil Nava, who lensed Harris’ “Summer” and “Blame” videos earlier this year, is the director listed on the clapboard, and, well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see where this all leads to. (For instance, who might be lending their pipes to the song, if not Calvin himself?) More »
