These Guys Are Bringing Nerdy Back With Their Justin Timberlake Medley

Apr 15th, 2010 // 2 Comments

While Justin Timberlake focuses on his acting career, leave it to somebody else to hone in on JT’s music. The Brett Domino Trio (formed by Brits Mitch Hutchinson, Steven Peavis and yes, Brett Domino) perform “Sexy Back,” “Like I Love You” and “LoveStoned” using various oddball instruments—a theremin, a cowbell, and a keytar, among others—that would not have been out of place on American Idol‘s Top 9 performance night. (If Lee DeWyze could find bagpipes in Los Angeles, we think these guys would have certainly less trouble finding them in Great Britain.)

They might look like extras from Revenge of the Nerds, or perhaps members of an actual real-life glee club, but they definitely know how to jam out to Timberlake’s tunes as much as one can while playing a ukulele. Watch the nerdly awesome clip below. More »

Warning: The Insane Clown Posse Video “Miracles” Will Turn You Into A Juggalo

Apr 9th, 2010 // 3 Comments

Those gimmicky hardcore rap/rockers known as the Insane Clown Posse (known for their clown make up and fans, known as “Juggalos”) have finally created something we can’t deny. Their latest video, for “Miracles”, could very well be confused for just another Juggalo parody because it looks and sounds like an SNL Digital Short. The downright whimsical clip is essentially a rip-off of “Empire State Of Mind” with a dash of Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic” (in the sense that ICP dictates a laundry list of miracles that actually aren’t miracles at all.) And as for Shaggy 2 Dope’s (or is it Violent J’s?) amazement at “f****n magnets” or complete hatred of scientists, well, we’d love to hear what he has to say about Lost.

Watch this miracle of a video and see our favorite lyric after the jump.

Six Music Remixes Later And We STILL Don’t Understand Tiger Woods’ Nike Ad

Apr 9th, 2010 // 1 Comment

Remember the good old days when it was “Tiger Woods Ya’ll It’s All Good Ya’ll” and Nike ads were built from montages of athletes in action? Nowadays Tiger’s name is synonymous with ‘sex addict’ and Nike’s latest philosophy involves showing the famous golfer staring blankly at the camera while receiving a stern talking-to from his late father, Earl. We’re sure Tiger thought this would help to rebuild his image, but the bizarre ad just lent itself to instant Internet parody. We decided to grab the best musical remixes among all the spoofs out there. Note: while the list includes a track by LMFAO and a few other friendly artist, the nature of Tiger’s scandal means that a lot of this is NSFW. So, careful, kiddies. The top 6 YouTube videos after the jump.

Repent, Sinners, And Hail Rihanna “Rude Boy” Parody “Church Boy”

Apr 5th, 2010 // 3 Comments

What better way to follow up Easter Sunday than with Second City’s “Church Boy,” a parody of Rihanna’s current chart topper “Rude Boy.” The clip stars the comedy troupe’s Jenna Brighton as a naughty Catholic school girl who chirps the lines, “Hold it, hold it, save it, save it, God is watching, sex is dirty.” That said, she proceeds to gyrate, bump and grind on everything in sight—including her co-star. We’re not really sure what the mixed message is here, but either way Jenna seems like a Grade-A $#?&! Get on your knees and watch the holy NSFW trashfest below. More »

Mar 31st, 2010 // Comment

Man, all this crying little kid wanted to do was bop around to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” in the car with his sister. But that’s when his father turned around from the driver’s seat and crushed the poor tyke’s hopes—and, if we’re being honest, very soul—by informing him that the boy is not, in fact, a single lady. Mar 30th, 2010 // 58 Comments

Justin Bieber, quit playin’. The Biebs provided the lulz this morning with a new celebrity playlist on YouTube, where he paid homage to bad kung fu movie dubbing. As for his playlist, the teen sensation made certain to include his own music video for his latest song “Never Let You Go”, plus (just as we expected) a Chuck Norris video, three-year-old Chloe crying over him, and the world’s longest snake. Watch the “Baby” singer struggle to keep a straight face after the jump.

What’s Better Than “Telephone,” “3″ And “She Wolf” Parodies On A Friday?

Mar 26th, 2010 // 1 Comment

We were going to call a halt on posting “Telephone” parody videos, because, really, how many bad wigs can we be expected to endure by all these YouTube clowns? But then Towleroad had to go and put up the rather awesome clip of some dude in Lady Gaga scag drag gyrating to “Telephone” on Chatroulette and compiling the reactions of all the users he encountered.

And if that’s not enough to turn your frown upside down on a Friday, we’re also throwing in Skwrrelhunter‘s re-enactments of Shakira’s “She Wolf” (titled “He Wolf”!) and Britney’s “3″—because this kid has way too much time on his hands, and apparently so do we. Enjoy below!
