UPDATE: This week’s New Music Friday lineup just got a little spooky. That’s when Christina Aguilera is dropping her new song “Haunted Heart.” Check out the announcement below

New music from Christina Aguilera is coming in hot. And it sounds like it’s going to be a little spooky. Today (September 10), Variety revealed that the pop icon contributed to the soundtrack for the upcoming The Addams Family movie. Her song is called “Haunted Heart” and will reportedly arrive sometime this month. Meanwhile, the film flies into theaters October 11. It also houses a collaboration between Migos, Karol G, Rock Mafia and Snoop Dogg called “My Family.” Jonathan Glickman, MGM’s Motion Picture Group President, gushed about the star-studded lineup.

“We could not have asked for a better lineup of global superstars to help audiences embrace the weird and celebrate the absurd with two brand-new songs that perfectly compliment this fresh fun take on MGM’s beloved franchise,” he said. That’s not all, either. Legend X also reveled that she is in discussion about lending her voice to the upcoming live adaptation of Disney’s Mulan. “I don’t know much about the project, but things are going back and forth,” she teased in an interview with Haute Living. “I’m discussing being part of it.” Of course, the Liberation diva would be a perfect addition.

After all, she did voice the original film’s “Reflection.” Revisit her take on the classic below while we wait for more news.
