Drake Posts, Then Deletes ‘More Life’ Project Teaser On Instagram
What is Drake up to? Last night (March 3) he posted, then swiftly deleted an Instagram post that appeared to tease his next project. “Om du över sätter det här är det försent,” a handwritten note said, which translates from Swedish to “If you’re translating this it’s too late” — a callback to his 2015 mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Below that message appears to be Drake’s signature, the words “More Life” and its expected release date of March 4, 2017.
Drake announced More Life — not a mixtape, but a “playlist of all original music,” not that it matters — back in October. His initial plan was to release it by the end of 2016. Because of the delays, though, there has been a lot of speculation on what to expect. One rumor states that More Life will feature up to 30 tracks. Meanwhile, a purported 10-song tracklist featuring Jennifer Lopez, The Weeknd, 21 Savage and London rapper Giggs has surfaced on Genius.
Others are wondering whether Drake only meant to tease his Boy Meets World Tour stop in Stockholm tonight. See the deleted post causing all this conversation below.
It’s starting to seem that Drake may have just posted this to hype his show in Sweden, but deleted it when he realized it will mislead fans pic.twitter.com/4h99n993U9
