Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran have a proven track record together. Every time they work on a song, they land an international hit. It all started when the Brit co-wrote “Love Yourself” for Purpose. The iconic anthem topped the Billboard Hot 100 and amassed more than 1.2 billion Spotify streams. How did they follow that up? By working together again on Major Lazer’s “Cold Water.” The end result of that collaboration was a #2 on the Hot 100 and another billion plus streams on Spotify. So it’s hardly surprising they have what sounds like a smash on their hands with “I Don’t Care.”

There’s just one difference; this time, they’re both featured on the track. Out today (May 10), their latest is a breezy love song. On it, the hitmakers find themselves in the midst of a party they don’t want to be at. The only thing making it better is that they’re with the loves of their lives. “Don’t think I fit in at this party. Everyone’s got so much to say. I always feel like I’m nobody,” Ed admits over a production courtesy of FRED, Max Martin and Shellback. Justin offers a slightly more optimistic take when he gets the microphone. But it’s the chorus that brings it all together.

“I don’t care when I’m with my baby, yeah. All the bad things disappear, and you’re making me feel like maybe I am somebody,” they croon. “I don’t care as long as you hold me near. You can take me anywhere.” It’s unclear if the song is a standalone single or the start of a new era for one or both of the stars. No matter what, it seems safe to assume this will dominate the charts all summer. Press play on Justin and Ed’s duet below.
