Iggy & Anitta's 'Switch' Is A Sassy Bop
Iggy Azalea teams up with Brazilian superstar Anitta for a summery bop called 'Switch.'

I’ve said it before, but Iggy Azalea really is the realest. Instead of passing the buck or blaming the label, she had a very open conversation with fans on Twitter about her MIA sophomore LP. The Aussie rapper explained that the album is delayed because “Mo Bounce” and “Switch” flopped. “They would have liked me to have a hit to drive the album sales but they are probably seeing now that is unlikely,” she admitted. Azaleans (no, they’re not extinct) were quick to drag Def Jam, but Iggy quashed that.

“It’s not their fault,” the “Team” diva reasoned. “They need media etc to actually give the platforms FOR the promo. label cant just force me onto tv and into mags etc.” However, Digital Distortion is still coming. “It will be released in the next month or two, she said. “We are ‘discussing’ when. As for the “Switch” visual? “We are not releasing the mv.” That’s the only thing I don’t understand. Videos leak all the time. The money has already been spent. Why not throw it on YouTube and at least get some benefit from it?

However, it looks like Iggy is already focussed on her next project. “I just want to put it out and be done with it and hopefully start a new album I can finish fast and put out without all these issues,” the rapper explained. And we won’t have to wait three years for it. “[It will drop in] 2018, since you know, I’m not having a mental breakdown or randomly finding out on e news my fiancé’s having kids with someone else.” Wade through the hitmaker’s refreshingly transparent tweets below.
