With 10 nominations, Taylor Swift tied Ariana Grande as the most-nominated artists going into the 2019 VMAs. As it turns out, 10 is a big number for the “ME!” superstar. Why? Because this year also marks the 10-year anniversary of her first performance at the show. And she’s celebrating in style. Today (August 7), MTV announced that the 29-year-old would commemorate the occasion with a performance. “Taylor Swift is turning it up to 11 with a huge world premiere performance,” they teased in an official video.

Based on that, it seems safe to assume that she’ll be playing a new single off her forthcoming album. The timing could not be better for that, either. Lover, her seventh LP, drops August 23. That’s only three days before the VMAs take place on August 26 this year. At the rate things are going, it’s safe to assume that Taylor will collect several awards during the ceremony as well. She’s in the running for major categories including Song and Video Of The Year, both for “You Need To Calm Down.” Check out the announcement below.
