Mariah Carey, 5 octave-possessing vocal goddess and 18-time chart-topper, has really showed out this week. She kicked things off by stealing the show at the American Music Awards with the live debut of “With You” and then kept her diamond-encrusted stiletto on our neck by dropping the ravishing, black-and-white video last night (October 10). The Lamb Tamer always looks a billion dollars, but Mimi serves career-best looks in a visual feast that finds her taking in the sights and sounds of Los Angeles.
Our heroine begins the clip by taking in a night-time view of downtown (I think she’s parked at Griffith Observatory) and then proceeds to take a stroll down Hollywood Boulevard. Of course, passersby are mesmerized by her sheer glamor and beauty. Next up in a chill session in Mimi’s beachside mansion. Mariah rocks a robe on the balcony, relaxes on a marble floor in a couture gown and poses in the driveway in a skintight bodysuit. I like to this this is how she spends everyday.
