As several other people have already said, James Marsters' accent in Buffy was based on Anthony Stewart Head, and if you listen to Head talk in his natural voice, it becomes blindingly obvious.
But you were only talking about a bad accent in Andromeda and Torchwood, consider this: In neither case was he actually British British.

And here I thought the point of categories like "YA lit" was that they were written with a certain level of vocabulary and tone that would be accessible to even the poorest teenage reader, not just the brainiacs who read Asimov when they were in elementary school.
Of the YA novels I've read lately, I've definitely noticed there's a simplicity to the writing style that non-YA novels don't have.

Okay, to punctuate the point, here's an interview of Masters and Anthony Head, so you can hear Marster's natural voice and compare to Head's natural voice (he lightens his accent for Buffy).
Maybe I'm just an ignorant American, but I think I can hear some of the inflections that Marsters cribbed.

I might classify Cell as sci-fi, actually.
But yeah, sci-fi is not what comes to mind when I think of Stephen King, though I think they were just combined sci-fi, fantasy, and horror into a supergenre, which is not uncommon.

Okay, because no one actually seems to be answering your question...
It is easier for women in gymnastics to perform their routines when they are smaller and lighter.
