Whether it be the London Olympics, our collective obsession with PBS’ Downton Abbey, the resurgence and re-tooling of such series as Doctor Who and Absolutely Fabulous or, of course, the slew of musicians hailing from the UK who’ve infiltrated our charts over the past couple years, America is pledging allegiance to all things British once again.
