The finalized cast of new US edition of The X Factor hits the cover of The Hollywood Reporter, but it’s sorely missing Mariah Carey, who is confirmed to take part in the show, but not as a judge. She will be a “a guest of a judge”, in this case Simon Cowell — who, by the way, is back to his arrogant self (oh, how we missed it!), describing under 20 million viewers a week “a disappointment”, calling The Voice‘s $200,000 prize “boring”, and shares his love of vegetable smoothies with imported lingonberries imported daily from Russia.
