Gwen Stefani Announces Holiday Special
Gwen will perform songs from her Xmas album during an hour-long NBC special.

Gwen Stefani lands on the cover of Marie Claire’s Christmas issue. The eternally-youthful singer is gearing up for a busy December with heavy promo for festive LP, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, and an upcoming NBC special. She looks beyond that, however, in the accompanying interview. “I would love to do something like [write a musical], just be a part of a writing thing, because that confidence has come back now, and I know I have something to offer,” the hitmaker muses. “It used to be such a stress; there was so much doubt in me — now it’s like, ‘Well, just go and write a song.'”

The rest of the interview is largely centered on the “Make Me Like You” diva’s relationship with sexiest man alive (according to People magazine) Blake Shelton and her breakup with Gavin Rossdale. “What I learned was that my heartbreak was supposed to happen, that it was my purpose to write about and share my story,” she offers. “I met at least 50 to 100 people before each show on my tour and got to hear that my truth and my story translated, and I feel very lucky and honored knowing that.” Click through the pics up top.
