After a couple of missteps (“Baby Don’t Lie” and “Spark The Fire”), Gwen Stefani’s comeback is back on track with “Used To Love You.” The moving ballad is a reminder of how great a pop star the No Doubt frontwoman can be with the right material. Happily, it’s also shaping up to be a huge hit. The track debuted at number 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week and should climb a lot higher given its warm reception at pop and HAC radio.
The 46-year-old’s non-stop promotion is also helping to build buzz. Gwen has performed “Used To Love You” on TV shows, given multiple interviews and posed for a bunch of magazine covers.
