Lady Gaga Is One Influential Person According To ‘Time’ Magazine And Cyndi Lauper

Lady Gaga not only made Time‘s 2010 list of the 100 Most Influential People, she landed the cover, standing in between soccer star Didier Drogba and former President Clinton. We really expected Bill Clinton to be a little bit more excited to be placed next to a hot lady wearing a bra made of sparklers, but we’ll chalk his indifferent expression up to the fact that they weren’t photographed in the same room at the same time. Check out an additional pic from inside the mag, as well as a few fond words from Gaga’s MAC Viva Glam buddy Cyndi Lauper.

Cyndi Lauper discusses why she admires the 24-year old pop star so much. Not only does Gaga “present her ideas in a sophisticated manner” and have “an incredible pop sensibility,” the also-brazenly-styled singer admits, “I find it very comforting to sit next to somebody and not have to worry that I look like the freak.” Especially if she’s sitting next to Gaga while Ms. Germanotta is wearing her highly flammable “Bad Romance” lingerie:

Here’s video of Gaga explaining who is most influential in her life (besides her little monsters, of course): New-Age spiritual author and speaker Deepak Chopra.

“I think about Deepak when i comes to my own work as a musician,” Gaga says. “I want so much for it to go beyond the music for my fans. Inspiration as ambition, how the spiritual laws can affect their lives…. he has always reminded me to work in a life of service to my fans and to fulfill my vision.”

Other musicians to make the list include Taylor Swift, Prince, and Elton John, as well as TV’s big music personalities Simon Cowell and Glee actress Lea Michele. (Bono also gets wordy while writing a touching essay on President Clinton.)
