Madonna’s ‘MDNA’ On Track To Top The Album Chart
Madonna is nothing if not consistent. The “Girl Gone Wild” singer, ever the controversial lightning rod, is aiming to land her fifth consecutive #1 album — and her eighth overall — on the Top 200 next week. Billboard notes that it’s looking like MDNA will wind up selling between 300,00 and 350,000 copies by the publication’s Sunday chart data cut-off time. Her last studio LP, 2008’s Hard Candy, debuted atop the album roundup with 280,000 sold out of the gate.
