PHOTOS: Green Day Fans Show Off Their Punk-Rock Love
Green Day are certainly good to their fans—at last night’s epic three-hour show in Irvine, the band started things off right by inviting anybody in any section of the Verizon Amphitheater to come on down to rock out in the pit. If that wasn’t generous enough, Billie Joe Armstrong let concertgoers flock onstage, had them stage-dive off of it, and the punk frontman even let a lucky fan sing the band’s hit song “Longview”—and gave the kid his guitar as a gift for remembering all the lyrics.
