Mr Little Jeans Hits The Sweet Spot With “Fevers”: Premiere
After taking a little break, Norway’s Mr Little Jeans returned to the music scene last week with a new single called “Stitches.” Produced by long-time collaborator Tim Anderson, the track captures the dreamy, ’80s synth-pop sound that made “Runaway” a blog-conquering phenomenon. Which is a very good sign for her upcoming Fevers EP (due October 21). The title track, which we’re excited to premiere below, is similarly brooding and retro.
“Fevers” is a little darker and meaner than “Stitches,” but Monica’s (her real name) pop sensibility shines through on the instantly hummable chorus and new wave synths. The Pocketknife singer is supporting the EP with a North American tour, which kicks off in Washington on November 1 and then crisscrosses the continent before winding up in Las Vegas on December 9.
