We're starting to get worried about our "Hey, Asshole!" feature, in which readers send in shameful pictures of asinine concert-going behavior. It's been a while since we had a submission, but we refuse to believe that there aren't any fun-thwarters out there—what is the iPhone, after all, but the a tool for the every-day working-man asshole? So please keep it going by sending in pictures and details to tips@idolator.com, and we will love you forever.

A Friendly Nudge: We're Looking For Assholes, Musicians, and Maybe Even Asshole Musicians

Your big-chief Idolators would like to remind you about our two delightful ongoing features: Sample Sale and "Hey Asshole!" In Sample Sale, we let loose a fantastic old MP3—our debut entry is "Towering Inferno" by '70s Afro-rock stars The Green Arrows—and invite you to mix, chop, and grind the track however you see fit (don't let our old-timey DJ lingo turn you off). Post the tracks in the comments section, and we'll pick the best one, allowing you to bask in blogosphere glory. If this goes well, we can irk the RIAA on a weekly basis, and you will also get repeated chances to look at an adorable picture of a cat and a record player.

In "Hey Asshole!", we ask you to regale us with tales of terrible concert behavior, complete with pictures of the main offenders. We've already had some good first efforts, but we're still waiting for the money shot to kick off the first entry. Come on, people! You've got cameras, concert tickets, and no shortage of harsh criticism for each other. This could be your greatest dreams realized.

If I Tip For You, Will You Tip For Me?

Before you head home for a weekend of VH1 Classic and apple-bong hits, we ask that you keep in mind in our lonely little tips[at]idolator.com jar. We've gotten some good stuff already, but surely there must be a few music-biz spies ready to dish the dirt (unless Doug Morris has fired them all for watching Lionel Richie videos on YouTube). As for those of you sending in info about your bands: We'll get to them all, we swear.

Also, if you're out at the shows this weekend, don't forget about our family-friendly "Hey, Asshole!" feature. We're expecting great things from you people—especially those of you hitting up the Aerosmith-Motley Crüe show at Jones Beach. It doesn't get more assholistic than that.
