Patrick Stump classed up Lollapalooza yesterday, as the Soul Punk singer performed in the August heat in a tuxedo. (How fancy!) The Idolator interviewee owned the spotlight as he wowed the crowed with “Explode” and “This City”. Check out Wynter Gordon’s tourmate as he rocks his hometown of Chicago. And to catch the former Fall Out Boy’s killer old school medley of “This Is How We Do It”, “Every Little Step” and “Poison” head here. More »

Taylor Momsen managed to keep her clothes on yesterday during her performance with her band Pretty Reckless for Day 2 of Lollapalooza 2011. (Not that the “Criminal” singer had much clothing to keep on to anyway.) The Light Me Up band really rocked the Lolla crowd, and the 18-year-old was joined on stage (once again) by excited and shirtless fans during “Goin’ Down”. What is it about the Gossip Girl‘s music that makes the ladies want to disrobe? More »

Over 60,000 fans gathered to catch Eminem’s spellbinding set last night, for the second day of Lollapalooza 2011. The “Space Bound” rapper thrilled the gigantic crowd with old favorites (“The Real Slim Shady”, “Without Me”, “My Name Is”) and new ones (“Not Afraid”, “I Need A Doctor” with live vocals from fellow Lolla performer Skylar Grey). The Detroit native even got a little help from Bruno Mars and Royce Da 5’9″ on “Lighters” with. Click through to lose yourself in the music. More »

Cee-Lo donned what has to be one of his coolest costumes ever — a high bar given his often elaborate performance attire — for a blistering rock-heavy set on Lollapalooza’s Day 2. Clad in a Darth Vader-meets-KISS costume (complete with spiked shoulder pads), the Lady Killer and The Voice/Talking To Strangers host blasted through covers of Danzig’s “Mother” and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” (which he wasn’t allowed to finish at Coachella this year) in addition to his own hits. Check our incredible photos to get a closer look. More »

Coldplay helped wrap up Day 1 of Lollapalooza 2011. For their music festival set, the Jimmy Kimmel Live performers gave fans a mix of old (“Yellow”, “Clocks”, Viva La Vida”) and new (“Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” “Hurts Like Heaven”) tunes. In addition, the Brit band reprised their cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” followed immediately by “Fix You”, making for a touching tribute to the late pop star. Tinie Tempah amped up his ongoing British invasion of American pop with a fiery set at sunset on the first day of Lollapalooza 2011. Backed by a full live band, Tinie tore through tracks from his Mercury Prize-nominated debut Disc-Overy, including of course the head-nodding “Till I’m Gone” (sans Wiz Khalifa). And Spinner reports that he also commanded fans to get low for “Miami To Ibiza” before the crowd exploded in cheers. By Tinie’s own description, it was one “crazzzy” performance. Check the MC in action in our exclusive photos. More »

Mark Foster, Mark Pontius and Cubbie Fink — better known as Foster The People — certainly pumped up the masses during Day 1 of Lollapalooza yesterday. Reportedly, the Los Angeles trio had fans crowd surfing as far as the eye could see. In addition to their well known singles (including a personal favorite of ours, “Helena Beat”), the Idolator interviewees also performed a cover of Neil Young’s “Heart of Gold”. To which, we’re sure young audience members said, “Hey, this sounds like that guy Jimmy Fallon imitates.” Click through to check out highlights from the Torches band in Chicago. More »
