After postponing his concert date in Norfolk due to a minor injury, Usher was back on his feet last night at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The Jordin Sparks “seducer” descended on a stage high above the arena as if to tell fans, “Daddy’s Home“. The R & B artist made the packed crowd say, “OMG” with performances of “Hot Tottie” and “Yeah” and managed to throw in classics like “Caught Up” and “U Make Me Wanna”. At 2am Usher tweeted, “LA thank you for all the love tonite, #OMGTour shut down Staples Centers”, clearly still on an adrenaline rush from his mind-blowing concert in Los Angeles on Thursday. As if pyronecnics, a floating and rotating stage and the R & B crooner’s killer dance moves weren’t enough to make the entire arena say, “Oh my gosh!“, the evening included Trey Songz (with special guest Drake) and Justin Bieber’s BFF also brought on will.i.am for a surprise performance. 106 & Park celebrated its 10th anniversary from BET’s studio in NYC (now relocated to 57th street since the show’s first airing) and from Hollywood and Highland in Los Angeles. The televised party was packed with appearances from hip hop artists including Bow Wow, Chris Brown, Nelly and Jamie Foxx—many of whom credit the show for their success. Fans were also treated to performances from Fabulous, Trey Songz, Ice Cube and Ashanti.
