The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” Video Stars Martha Hunt: Watch
No, The Chainsmokers aren’t in Paris for their new “Paris” video. But that is besides the point, it seems.
Directed by Mister Whitmore, the”Paris” video stars Victoria’s Secret model Martha Hunt, who appears comatose at first but eventually wakes up — to find that her house, while facing an idyllic suburb, is literally in the clouds. What happens from that point onward is essentially the daytime version of Evanescence‘s “Bring Me to Life” video. Martha dives on the window’s ledge and plummets from the sky, though to end up back in her bed, safe if not content.
“Paris” will be featured on the Chainsmokers’ just-announced album Memories: Do Not Open, out April 7. Watch the video up top, then see the Chainsmokers talk about it on Twitter below.
