"Incendiary" doesn't even come close to describing "50 Shots," the new single from Brooklyn rapper Papoose. Released just a few days after a Queens man was shot to death by police, "50" bashes the cops, name-checks the New York Post, and ends in a barrage of gunfire; in other words, it's like 1989 all over again.

That's quite a get-up.
Extra points for biting Sam Cooke.
zibby, don't be insensitive, the people of the indigenous papoose tribe use every part of the BigBird they slaughter.
Reminds me of the Le Tigre song "Bang! Bang!" where they counted down the 41 shots that killed Amadou Diallo. http://www.amazon.com/Desk-Mr-Lady-Tigre/dp/B0000544AM
Have we reached the point where any single track by an artist is referred to as a "single"?
