Seger can't help you, because Nickleback live in the WEST. They are from WESTERN CANADA. Real badasses like Chad don't live anywhere but ALBERTA.

tee.

This should server as a reminder of the cyclical nature of history/pop culture. I am old enough to eschew 80's nostalgia because I actually had to live through it. Seeing things like a former mouseketeer with minimal ability to mimic an R&B artist even with good production and Lionel Richie charting again reminds me of the 80's when I was turned on to punk/new wave/jazz/hardcore (i.e. anything not on the radio). More reason why there will/needs to be another Nirvana soon. Unfortunately the concept of burgeoning alternative music scenes in cities that helped pave the way for the indie golden years is gone and or co-opted by the biz looking for the next big thing. And yes this too is Bush's fault.

Ignatius

While I have enjoyed the first week of Idolator quite well, I must alert you to the shivers I get every time I see this feature's title on my screen. Dare I ask what the other finalists were?

Jon Solomon

I was expecting "B'Day" to fall hard the week after it came out. A lot of people outside the critical community were saying the record was horrible. I'm not surprised myself.

rad_matter

So, we've now discussed Weird Al and Chris Whatever from Tinkleback - both of whom serve as a reminder to Michael Bolton why it isn't so bad that he lost his pubie-long hair to male pattern baldness.

salsfamous

SEGER! YES! DETROIT! YES! SEGER!

Weirdly enough, Seger went pro-enviro, advocating hybrids in the album.

Ray Wert

Boat run won't help, Chad Whatshisface lives near Vancouver last I heard. Get the A-Frames to launch a sneak attack.

Ned Raggett
