2018 Grammy Awards: The Full List Of Winners

Mike Nied | January 28, 2018 6:34 pm

Tonight is the night of the 2018 Grammy Awards, and the evening is shaping up to be one of the biggest in music this year. The event is taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York City and is hosted by James Corden. Hip hop and rap dominated music in 2017, as evidenced by this year’s list of nominees.

Jay-Z leads the field with 8 nods in categories including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year and will be in attendance with Beyonce. The 4:44 rapper faces stiff competition from Kendrick Lamar. The DAMN. rapper scooped up 7 nominations. He and Jay are facing off against Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s inescapable “Despacito,” Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” and Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” for Record of the Year.

Julia Michaels has received a handful of nominations as well. The “Issues” superstar is up for Song of the Year with her solo debut and is competing for the title of Best New Artist. There she faces stiff competition from Alessia Cara, Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert and SZA. Other notable nominees include Pink, Lady Gaga, Kesha and Kelly Clarkson.

Many of the evenings nominees will be taking the stage to perform some of their nominated songs as well. After her triumphant return to the industry with her power ballad “Praying,” Kesha is one of the night’s most anticipated performances. She will be joined onstage by Camila Cabello, Cyndi Lauper, Julia Michaels and Andra Day for what is sure to be an empowering moment. Other anticipated performers include Childish Gambino, DJ Khaled (with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller), Kendrick Lamar and Gaga.

Who will take home the awards tonight (January 28)? All will be revealed in time. While we wait for the show to start, reacquaint yourself with the nominees here and check back throughout the night to find out who won what. We’ll be updating the winners list (below) in real time.
