Good morning! Things will be a bit different around the site today: “Gramps” Raftery is taking his contractually guaranteed day-long naps, so filling in for him will be Jason Fagone. Jason put the “O.G.” in “music blogger,” having overseen a short-lived (but much-loved) music Web site called Bring the Rock in the late ’90s. He’s also the author of the excellent Horsemen Of The Esophagus, a book that proves that the competitive-eating circuit is just as strange and wonderful as the music business.
