October 24, 2006 — NEW York lost CBGB, but we’re gaining a new rock Mecca. Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian is teaming up with club owner Mike Diamond…to open a rock venue in Chelsea on Halloween called Retox. Cypress Hill is scheduled to play opening night, and Ian is slated to perform with the band Five for Fighting some time in November.
