The climate around the Idolator flophouse is finally in tune with the season, which means it’s time for us to pull out the crisp, moody “Lifeguard In Wintertime” by the Washington, D.C. band Beauty Pill. “Lifeguard” is from the Pill’s first full-length, 2004’s The Unsustainable Lifestyle; the band has gone through a bunch of lineup changes since then, but the spaced-out new track on its MySpace page suggests that there’s still a fair amount of brooding that lurks behind the band’s creative process.
