Last week, we told you about Tila Tequila’s plan to prove to the world that her 1.7 million MySpace friends are willing to buy her music, especially if it’s packaged with a “fucking HOT!” (her words) video. An update: “I Love U” has been available via the iTunes Store for about a day, and it’s cracked the store’s top 100 songs chart, causing Tila to type breathlessly:

Dude, I am now on the actual top 100 singles charts!!!!!! IT IS OFFICIAL!!! I just made it on the list today debuting at #91 beating out Christina Aguilera, Pussycat Dolls, Jim Jones…etc..etc….OH MY GOD! This is sooo amazing you guys! Let’s get it to #1 ok????

We’re not sure how many sales it takes to get a song into the top 100, but we know one thing: If we were Tila, wouldn’t start celebrating until our song got ahead of “Weird Al” Yankovic, whose “White & Nerdy” is, after all these months, sitting pretty at No. 77. Because only after you eclipse a man who has his own fan-maintained wiki can you truly claim that you’re the most famous person on the Internet.
