Stuck On Repeat: Super Love Attack Feels The Motion Of The Ocean
We don’t know much about the Denton, Texas-based band Super Love Attack–they’re a four-piece who claim to be influenced by the Boredoms and Danny Elfman, they formed in 2003, they may or may not still be making music. (Is it wrong to assume that any band whose MySpace comments are full of offers for free stickers may have put its musical aspirations on the back burner?) But their spaced-out track “Alien,” which has next-dimension guitars and a woozy closing passage, still fizzes as nicely as it did when we heard it at the tail end of a long drive in 2005:
