The Unknown Cover Unmasked: We Got It–It’s Gotthard
In a startling display of Internet quickness (and, apparently, better lyric-deciphering skills than ours), our readers have unmasked the mystery “Zakk Wylde” song we posted earlier: It’s called “Love For Money” and it’s by the Swiss hard-rock band Gotthard. Gotthard, which formed in 1992, is still a functioning entity that tours Europe and slaps classy covers on its records; “Love For Money” was recorded in 1994. Now, let’s see if any of you can figure out that not-by-Elliott-Smith Cat Stevens cover, which has been languishing, unidentified, for a week. The Internet needs you, people!
