Killing Joke’s self-titled debut album arrived in 1980, just a little over a year after the band’s formation, and it’s been scaring-slash-intriguing the crap out of curious middle-schoolers ever since. Two of Killing Joke‘s best tracks are below: “Requiem” sounds like an air-raid with a beat, while the sick-man vocals and assaultive guitar of “Wardance” would help clear the way for the likes of Ministry and Big Black:
