Chicago quintet Office didn’t choose a moniker as Google-able as say, Supergrass, but they share a devotion to ultra-hooky late-’90s pop that’ll barnstorm the boardroom. Singer Scott Masson’s soaring vocals even affect a slight British lilt on the ELO synth-struck “Paralyzed Prince,” one of three cuts streaming from their first album for ex-Pumpkin James Iha’s Scratchie Records, A Night At The Ritz, due in September. Although “The Ritz” and “Possibilities” spin like the glammy days of the Dandy Warhols, they won’t keep your boss off your tail–except for your guest Idolator, that is. Back to work!
