Master P Revives My Long-Dormant Film School Dreams
Following his embarassing blanket apology for past behavior at the congressional hip-hop shenanigans last week (Christ, was it only last week?), Master P is continuing his self-flagellatory quest for hip-hop redemption with his son Romeo and “a unique contest that allows fans to create their own clean hip-hop music video” on Animoto, which offers this awesome, impossible-to-resist enticement: “Why sign up? Because Steven Segal did.” While I couldn’t find any mention of the Master P/Romeo contest, I did take the opportunity to create my own video for Idolator with Animoto’s actually kinda-sorta surprisingly non-annoying to use interface:
Even limited to a glorified slideshow, I probably won’t be tapped to film any buzz clips, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
