Stereolab Offsets Our Seasonal Affective Disorder
Since y’all seemed so psyched to sit through 14 minutes of Nick Cave yesterday, I went looking for the full fasciste-spurning, democracy-deconstructing, 20-motorik-minutes of Stereolab’s still swoonworthy “Jenny Ondioline” to crest us through the late afternoon. Sadly all I could find was the video for the sparkling, condensed single edit, but this crisp (for YouTube) version adds color to a clip I remembered in arty (and grainy) black and white. (Even if that color is mostly “blue.”)
