The New York Times may be a little out of control blog-wise, but their blog all about migraines (!) has an entry from Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy in which he talks about his lifelong problem with the crippling headaches, and how managing his depression and panic disorders helped him become freer from pain than any painkiller would allow him to. And for those of you who are rubberneckers as far as finding out just what personal tragedies inspired some of your favorite albums, Tweedy discusses how some songs on A Ghost Is Born were inspired by the trajectories of his migraines.
