Coldplay and Leona Lewis have been added to the American Music Awards, which take place Nov. 23–and hey, that date also happens to be the drop date for Chinese Democracy! It’s kind of strange that GNR (or at least Axl) haven’t been even mentioned as possible performers on the program yet–you’d think that a waning awards show would want to hitch itself to one of the few albums that actually has a huge amount of buzz, even if a lot of said interest is rooted in peoples’ never-quenched desire to drink as much free carbonated sugar water as they can.
