Michael Jackson Needs To Go Under The Knife Again, According To His Biographer

Michael Jackson biographer Ian Halperin is going around telling anyone who’ll listen that the singer is in need of a lung transplant ASAP. Halperin claims that the King Of Pop is suffering from Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency—in which the liver has problems producing a protein that protects the lungs from an enzyme that can corrode healthy lung tissue if not kept in check—as well as emphysema, but Jackson’s other medical problems may have rendered him too weak to actually go through with the transplant. Halperin also told reporter that Jackson is 95% blind in his left eye, unable to speak, and suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding that “could kill him.” Jackson’s people are mum as far as whether or not Halperin’s insinuations are true, but either way, blah.

Hey look, it’s Michael Jackson in times that may have been slightly happier!
