Recently, John Lydon made his public image a little less limited and started shilling for Country Life Butter (sadly not spawning a comments section bonanza with “Holidays On The Bun,” et al.) As it turns out, the pockmarked face of this professional booger-flicker worked wonders for the butter’s parent company, Dairy Crest: According to The Guardian, the ad helped the brand’s sales go up 85 percent in the fourth quarter of 2008.
