Is Adam Lambert Really Going To Channel Stevie Nicks Tomorrow Night?

The generally reliable American Idol blog Joe’s Place has what it claims is a list of songs that the remaning eight hopefuls will sing tomorrow night, when the theme is “Songs From The Year You Were Born.” (It should be noted that none of these songs will have been released earlier than 1980. And Allison Iraheta was born in 1992!) Anyway, this list not only has Adam Lambert singing “Edge Of Seventeen,” it features El DeBarge and a song I sang in third-grade chorus. List after the jump.

Kris Allen: “Heaven,” Bryan Adams Lil Rounds: “Let’s Hear It For the Boy,” Denice Williams Adam Lambert: “Edge of Seventeen,” Stevie Nicks Scott MacIntyre: “You’re the Inspiration,” Chicago Anoop Desai: “Who’s Johnny,” El DeBarge Matt Giraud: “Part Time Lover,” Stevie Wonder Allison Iraheta: “Tears in Heaven,” Eric Clapton Danny Gokey: “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” Queen

I hope this list is wrong for two reasons: Allison’s song and Matt’s song. Although it is kinda plausible, especially because I can definitely see the Gokester trying to snag some of Adam’s fanbase by trying to channel Freddie Mercury. And being just as classy as he was when he mimicked Matt Giraud last week.

(Oh, also, the third-grade chorus song was “You’re The Inspiration.” We were hip back then.)
