You can almost hear the brainstorming session for t.A.T.u’s blisteringly trebly “Snegopady (Snowfalls)” video as its story–which picks up right where the slightly boring video for “220” ends–unfurls:
“What if we did a video based on Mario Kart, only with upskirts and a neat little suicide-pact twist at the end? It would be so easy to spin off into a video game of our own. Sure, game sales are starting to feel the pain, but we need to hedge our bets against the ever-tanking recorded-music business somehow. One of us has kids to feed, and the fake-lesbian thing is getting kinda old, you know?” Of course, some of those antics can be held in reserve for people who find the cheat codes…
