Justin Timberlake, Jamie Foxx, and Queen Latifah have all been added to the roster of the Michael Jackson memorial concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, which starts about an hour and 15 minutes from now. Reports are also claiming that Jermaine Jackson will be in tow and singing, of all songs, the old sad standard “Smile.” Uh, what else is there to say to that piece of speculation but “Wow.” There will also be a memorial to the pop star in his hometown of Gary, Ind., this Friday:

In Jackson’s hometown of Gary, Indiana, Mayor Rudy Clay has announced that another Gary-born singer, Deniece Williams — who sang “Let’s Hear It for the Boy” from the soundtrack to the 1984 film “Footloose” — would be among the performers at a Friday memorial service at the U.S. Steel Yard baseball stadium, according to the Gary Post-Tribune. A 500-member choir will also sing “We Are the World” at the service.
