After the cover of Guns N’ Roses’ “Paradise City” from the unlikely combo of Slash, Fergie and Cypress Hill made its way online last week, former GNR guitarist Slash Hudson took to his Twitter account to defend the curvy Black Eyed Peas’ fox’s inclusion on the track. Or maybe he’s just making a general assessment about Fergie’s rock chops.

Here’s Slash’s tweet:

“Until now, not too many people have heard Fergie sing Rock & Roll but she sings it better tha [sic] most dudes I know. She’s a screamer at heart.”

Screamer or not, Prefix now notes that the guitar legend has yet to decide whether the “Paradise City” reinterpretation will end up on his upcoming Slash & Friends album.

So how does this all bode for Pussycat Dolls frontvixen Nicole Scherzinger, another less hard-rock-leaning singer who’s also said to appear on the album? Maybe this clip of Slash shredding it on stage in Vegas with Nicole last month to the slinky PCD number “When I Grow Up” will give some sort of indication:
