‘Did It Again’ 2.0: Kid Cudi Pops Up In Shakira’s New/Old Video
Shakira’s bouncy bed romp alone in the Sophie Muller-directed “Did It Again” video was clearly not enough for fans (or, perhaps, label execs) of the Colombian pop diva. Time, then, to wrangle in Grammy nominee Kid Cudi for a new cut!
A month after the original premiered, an updated “Did It Again” vid has leaked, featuring Cudi tossing out insightful quips like “Shakira, boo? Why don’t you let ’em know what the deal is, baby,” and “I can put you where you want to be” (not to mention “Yeah, yeah” a few times, for good measure).

“Did It Again” hasn’t officially been released as a single in the States. Shakira’s “Give It Up To Me,” which features Lil Wayne, jumped up from #61 to #29 last week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Meanwhile, Gainsville, Florida, radio station CW10 has posted an interview with Kid Cudi talking about his Grammy nominations, wherein the 25-year-old rapper says, “I think ‘Day ‘N’ Nite’ is gonna be here forever.”
We can only hope.
