Stephen Colbert Raps With Alicia Keys, Jay-Z Put On Alert

Alicia Keys performed “Empire State of Mind, Pt. II (Broken Down)” on The Colbert Report last night to promote just-released album The Element of Freedom. And Alicia had a very special guest rapper accompany her on the song—no, not Jay-Z. Someone even better.

Stephen Colbert threw on a hoodie and performed an original rap interlude about living next to the Guggenheim Museum before moving to Connecticut and having a 60-inch plasma TV. Hilarious clip (made even funnier by a super-professional Alicia somehow managing to not crack up) after the jump:

Being featured as a rapper on a famous musician’s beloved song is just another example of Colbert’s streak of doing things most other late night talk show hosts would never even dream of; he also landed the cover of Sports Illustrated, became an ice cream flavor and even a got animated beside Spidey. Way to make the rest of us feel inferior to your constant success, Colbert!
