Beyonce’s Mom Tina Knowles Files For Divorce

Beyonce may have recently garnered the most Grammy nominations of any artist this year, but it looks like the dream team that has shepherded her career since the early days—her parents—are officially over.

Media Take Out has published documents showing that Celestine “Tina” Knowles filed for divorce from Mathew Knowles in a Houston court last month on November 11. The pair have been married for 29 years.

TMZ also notes that Mathew was served with a paternity suit by another woman in October.

Mathew, 58, has been Beyonce’s manager since the Destiny’s Child days, while Tina, 55, designed the girl group’s costumes and is the creator of the House Of Deréon fashion line.

So far Beyonce’s sis Solange, who’s usually quite chatty on Twitter, has been mum since yesterday.
