The Morning Mix: Na’vi Justin Bieber Also Needs A Haircut

Morning everyone! We’re preparing to watch President Obama’s important State of the Union address tonight, but til then, we’re more than happy to focus on more trivial matters: Rolling Stone photoshopped our favorite artists (from Britney to Justin Bieber, above — he’s still the cutest flower-delivery boy ever, though) and re-imagined them as characters from Avatar, now the semi-official all-time box-office champ. We have to admit: Na’vi Madonna looks only slightly less realistic than the actual Madonna. Check out their gallery here, Buzznet’s Na’vi gallery here, then head straight back for the mix:

Did You Hear?

:: Justin Timberlake has won Grammys and Emmys, and now he’s the proud winner of Harvard’s “Hasty Puddings”‘ Man of the Year prize, awarded by the school’s historic drama troupe. Next on JT’s awards to-do list: the Nobel Peace Prize and World’s Best Grandma. [Billboard]

:: “Stephen,” one of the tracks off Animal that Ke$ha co-wrote with her mom, is based on a guy the singer has stalked for years. Did this girl receive some top-notch parenting or what? [Just Jared]

:: Lady Gaga’s “monster claw” is just the latest hand gesture fans have employed to salute their musical idols. [MTV]

:: And in case you missed seeing Gaga in concert, Best Week Ever breaks down every last costume change for you. Congrats, you just saved ninety bucks! [Best Week Ever]

:: We’re confused as to why AC/DC is the only artist on the Iron Man 2 soundtrack, considering that it was Black Sabbath who recorded the song “Iron Man.” But at least we’ll get a cool new video of “Shoot to Thrill” featuring hot babes in sexy Iron Man costumes. [Spin]

Behind the jump: Our collective heart will go on for Titanic, despite it no longer being the highest grossing movie of all time.

VIDEO REWIND OF THE DAY: Avatar is now the highest grossing movie of all time (not counting for inflation), surpassing the box office to James Cameron’s last epic, Titanic. Ah, Titanic, you’ve had a good run. Twelve years in the top spot ain’t so bad, and hey, you’re still number two! And no matter how much we’ve tried, we’ll never let go of your unforgettable theme song, Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.” So let’s raise a glass to the historical romance (and Dion’s possible pregnancy?) and watch the schmaltzy, cheesy and heartwarming music video for the timeless love ballad.

Have a great day, everyone!
